By Michael Cawley I believe Mr. White's book does a splendid job in describing all of the Nikon Coolpix 610 capabilities, and does it in such a fashion that a novice such as me may learn great photographic skills. The book is easy to read and comprehend.

Very Thorough By Amazon Customer Very good, although I still have to read certain parts or explanations many times and go through the steps before I understand. Part of this is vocabulary, and I wish more in the know photography pundits would use user friendly language. But the book is very helpful and I am not sorry I ordered it.

I am using many features that I would never have figured out without the book. I am a beginner photographer and so much of this is new to me so I am happy to have a good reference.I wanted to practice with my camera before a big trip I have upcoming. I think I will have many great photographs when I return.
