A fun read By randomlychosen I'm not good at this but I'm going to have a crack at it anyway because I really enjoyed this book and nobody else has reviewed it. It was my favorite kind of sci-fi - the kind where you step into an unfamiliar world and learn about it. The story moved along at a nice clip, it held my interest throughout, and I hope there's a sequel because I'd love to know what happens next. And, the writing style was refreshingingly free of clutter and preciousness - no overwrought descriptions or show-offy metaphors or awkward dialogue full of she-said-somethingly. If you like sci-fi give it a try!

Took me back to the books I read long ago by Heinlein and other classics. There are a few typos and there looks to be a sequel. This is not a "cliff hangar" finish which is a relief! Strongly recommend as a simple enthralling tale.
