From the Author People enjoy reading stories with new heroes, the bravery and courage that come from hope when a hero risks their lives for the safety of others. We all know stories of heroes and that it takes something to create them, but what if someone introduces a new twist to a different kind of hero. What if the hero(es) were once troubled youths who pushed the boundaries at a young age and become disgusted with those decisions hurting the ones who helped them out or showed them compassion when life knocks them down hard. Wouldn't you like to read and learn about the inner demons that torment but our characters lash out rather than seek help. So in other terms, before their heroes they're their own worst enemies that gradually help guide each other to their full potential.
About the Author I have spent many years working on this novel. I am a father and a husband. I wrote this novel in between working full time, being a college student full time and taking care of my family. I have put my heart and soul into these characters. Better yet, maybe the characters have put their heart and soul into me. Originally I wanted this book to be about the bond and brotherhood of friendship. However, over the years it has turned into so much more. Something miraculous has happened and writing this story has forever changed me. I never knew that the characters I invented myself could haunt my dreams and tell me what they wanted and needed to say. I have changed and reworded this story several times as the characters spoke to me as they came to life. You will enjoy getting to know these boys as much as I did.
