Megan Collier is the medical examiner who is baffled by what she discovers when examining the latest murder victims. How could something like this happen? Victims are missing an organ and blood. Why? And who or what could be doing this? Megan and her girlfriend, Amy, arrive at a conclusion that no one wants to accept or believe.Throw a Mafia boss into the mix and you've got even more trouble or possibly help in dealing with this monster--that they may not even be able to capture or kill! The story is well paced and enthralling. It kept me turning the pages and wondering what would happen next. I would highly recommend it.

I was truly entertained by the characters as the story wove its magic over me. The paranormal aspects had me wondering how the story would come together with the world of reality and was really rocked by the conclusion. I was lead through the twists and turns with clues and hints, making me wonder what would happen if this was actually true. Read it, you won't be disappointed.

I don't normally tend to gravitate toward these types of books, but I thought this was a good solid read and it kept me interested to the very end. What might have made it perfect is a bit more between the couple and their relationship.
