A Definite Kneeslapper By DAVID M WATSON This incredibly unique and powerful book will simply knock your socks off and then put them back on you...several times. Be prepared to answer a lot of questions, both from your own psyche and the book itself. You will never find a more thought-provoking novel, I am convinced. This book explores potent themes of possession and mental abnormalities as you follow Donald Smoke into his new life as a New York City resident. His adventures will have you in crying both tears of pain and tears of laughter as he tries to fit into his new home while completely bewildering those around him with his zany personality. Donald is a very special character. I personally found Donald Smoke to be akin to a joker and a medium. Misunderstood, profoundly aggravating, and downright hilarious, we see Donald suffer a sage's worst nightmare: demonic possession. Although this isn't just an ordinary demon. This demon takes the form of a Parakeet. This parakeet is far more complex than any other entity you may have read about in some kind of college mythology class. To make it worse, there is a secondary demon who takes the form of the Statue of Liberty herself. Say goodbye to your perception of dimensional reality and welcome in a whirlwind of laughs and frustration as you read: Colby: The 9/11 Parakeet. God Bless America.

Whether you're a conspiracy nut, an mra activist, or a lover of poetry, you will find that Donald and his adventures in the big apple will not only bring a smile to your face, but also make you begin to believe in the good of people again. Forget the sad and grey times you're going through now, your divorce and your alimony combined with that itching suspicion your frequent headaches are actually a brain tumor. Don's bopping and jiving through the capital of these great United States will have you in stitches before you can say "jet fuel and steel beams" three times.
