A fun story of friendship with plenty of mystery and intrigue By thepaigeduke This story has it all: unique characters, unlikely plot twists, rich and varied settings, offbeat humor, and plenty of intrigue.I couldn’t help but love the camaraderie between Eddie and his pals—the way they're always stumbling into trouble and sticking together to pull each other out. And following their divergent paths through the years kept me turning the pages.Then, as the odd professor and his wife come on the scene, there’s such a weird sense of foreboding that I was totally hooked. I had to know what secrets they were hiding and whether Eddie was going to get caught up in them.I don’t want to give too much away, but I think you’ll like the way the story comes full-circle in the end. Above all, this is such a unique and fun story of a kid who’ll stop at nothing to realize his dream without forgetting the people who helped him along the way.

I think we can all relate to some of the side stories and how a seemingly small incident can turn lives around. Locations move from the States to the UK and Hawaii. Perhaps a little slow moving in parts but who would guess the outcome.
