This is a fascinating story with just the right rhythm, going from pretty laid back moments to intense and/or frustrating ones (in a good sense), and even to some heart-wrenching situations, all mixed in a thrilling way. I smiled, I laughed, and yes, I nearly cried as I immersed myself in this adventure and these people's lives.Seth is quite witty, funny and smart. And sweet. I couldn't help but love him. In the end I just wanted to follow him on his next adventure. Yet it wasn't only him; the other characters (and the way they all interacted with one another) were great too, each and every one of them in his/hers own right — even the villains, be them the real ones or not. They are all part of my world now. And keep visiting me at the most unexpected times and places.(I received a copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.)

Great writing, edge of your seat action and suspense, laugh out loud humor, awe-inspiring descriptions that stop you in your tracks until you can pull yourself away from them to continue the roller-coaster ride again, and lovable characters you can't help but root for. This debut novel by Orson C. Gawne is a true gem of a thriller.I received the novel in exchange for an honest review. And I honestly think this author is up there with Dan Brown.
