1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Quick and Easy Read By Misty Davis This book is exactly what you would expect it to be, a collection of anecdotes about fatherly advice. Being a fairly quick read, (all told took me about an hour to finish) it is also incredibly easy to relate to. Most of the sayings are unique in some way, though there are the scattered cliche bits of wisdom too ("don't count your chickens before they hatch"). Overall, very little thought needs to be put in as the anecdotes are short and to the point. Upon finishing this title I noticed there was a similar book published by the author only they subject matter focused on moms. I will be attempting to locate a copy to read as this book was mildly amusing and enjoyable.My only true complaint with this book is the small format. The book measures 5.5 x 0.8 x 7.4 inches (according to Amazon) with 144 pages. Even in my small hands it made holding the book open seem like a chore. Otherwise, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a bit of relatable humor.
